PT Food Station Tjipinang President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said his party ensured that rice stocks were safe to meet the needs of Jakarta residents.
"The current rice stock at Cipinang Main Market is around 30,000 tons and Food Station is around 15,000 tons," he expressed, Thursday (1/25).

"And Bulog's supply of imported rice is around two thousand tons every day," he explained.
Aside that, his party also poured out around five tons of rice during the cheap basic food market activities which had been held in four urban villages in stages since two weeks ago.
"The supply of rice to meet cheap basic food market activities held in 44 urban villages doesn't interfere with the current stock available," he added.
He admitted demand for rice ahead of the Chinese New Year or Idul Fitri celebrations tended to increase insignificantly.
"In contrast to the commodities eggs, chicken and beef which increase sharply ahead of the holidays, it is certain that rice stocks ahead of Idul Fitri are safe," he stated.
